NEW BRITISH AMBASSADOR ARRIVES IN VIETNAM

Mr Robert Gordon CMG, OBE has been appointed Her Majesty’s Ambassador to Vietnam. He and his wife arrived in Hanoi on 17 September 2003.

As former British Ambassador to Burma and Head of the Foreign & Commonwealth Office’s South East Asia Department, Mr Gordon is familiar with South East Asian and Vietnamese affairs.
